Engagement Session from Rancho Mirage

These clients were from the Rancho Mirage area. The logistics to accommodate them was quite an endeavor. I live on the fringe of Orange County. Whenever I went to visit these clients I would pop in my favorite CD and just drive. Good times!

Still Life - Wedding Photography

On occasion I do some second shooter work for a friend of mine named Chris. These are some examples of a few still life photos I thought were worthy of posting.

Mayor Ronald O. Loveridge

"Mayor Ron Loveridge welcomes the audience to the Akwaaba Peace Concert held on September 13, 2009 at White Park in Downtown Riverside to commemorate the first anniversary of the Sister City relationship between Riverside and Obuasi, Ghana. The concert was organized by the Obuasi Committee of the International Relations Council of Riverside"

I took these pictures last summer. One of these pictures was published on the City of Riverside website. It was a very cool endeavor. I met the the mayor of Obuasi Ghana as well as one of the originators for an organization called "Playing for Change". If you've never seen it, check out Youtube for the video of a Bob Marley cover called "War". It's an emotionally stirring video with a celebrity appearance from Bono of U2, as well as a handful of other world class musicians.

Bridget Boyle & Associates College Counseling

Bridget Boyle is an educator who wanted head shots for her new college counseling website; boylecollegecounseling.com. We went to the Claremont College campus and had a super intellectual conversation and a few laughs while I made her true colors shine. This was the award winning shot that tells the entire story of confidence and leadership that she embodies.

The Balboa Surfer

I took these shots in Balboa California. I felt like going for a drive. I took my longest lens. These are my award winners for the day.

Sequoia National Park

That's me standing in front of the biggest tree in the world. That thing is nearly 300 feet tall and about 30 feet in diameter at the base. It's quite a remarkable tree. The General Sherman. The second shot is of me standing next to The Fallen Monarch. Those are the roots of a hollow, fallen tree that people used to live in. I hiked to the the peak of Buena Vista Point as well. It made for a good day trip. My friend loves driving and I love tagging along.

EJ Adams - Promotional Pictures

I recently took promotional pictures of a local artist named EJ Adams. He has a soon to be released album called Not Looking Back. This man's passion for music is so contagious that it inspired me to pick up my guitar and start playing again.

S.T.R. & Sleez - Album Cover Art Concept Shoot

It was cool to hang out with these two young lyrical artists. These young men came to me with a handful of ideas for the concept of their soon to be released EP. I turned up the volume on their creativity and took their ideas a few steps beyond what they had imagined.

Kasandra Cervantes - University of La Verne Graduate

I've been intending to publish these pictures on my blog. My niece graduated from the University of La Verne fairly recently. I'm so proud of her. Words cannot express how proud I am of her. Congratulations!

LAICC 20 Year Anniversary Celebration at the Home Depot Center

Last week I traveled to the city of Carson, California to the Home Depot Center to photograph the 20'th Anniversary Celebration of the Los Angeles Church of Christ. This is the biggest event I have done as of yet. It was tedious and annoying trying to get myself and all of my equipment into the stadium. Finally, after the right person told me which door I needed to walk through it was smooth from there on. I walked through a double glass door and showed my credentials and they searched my camera case. After that I was given a special wristband and took an elevator to the field level. I walked down a tunnel corridor past the locker rooms and emerged behind the stage. The event was long and I went home that night tired.
